Some places stay with you long after you leave them.

Years ago, during the height of summer, I flew into Rome, rented a car, and spent weeks wandering through Tuscany and Umbria. I stayed on a mountainside property owned by a
woman who welcomed us like family and taught us how Italians truly cook—simple meals, fresh ingredients, nothing rushed.
Each day I drove to a new town to explore and get to see how the Italians live. Pienza, Siena, Montepulciano, Perugia—each one completely different yet grounded in the same earthy beauty. Stone buildings worn smooth by time. Rolling hills painted in soft greens. The scent of rosemary in the air. Markets overflowing with fresh fruit, olive oil, bread, and flowers.
The fig trees on the property were heavy with fruit, perfectly ripe, sweet, and sun-warmed. I was surrounded by olive orchards, open skies, and a slower way of living that felt deeply familiar.

What surprised me most was the sense of belonging. I’m Italian, and my family came to America from Italy in 1912. Standing there, surrounded by fig trees and stone towns, I felt connected—like I had come home to something ancient and rooted.
That feeling stayed with me.

Today, I have fig trees of my own, and Tuscan Fig is my way of returning to that place whenever I need it. This candle is earthy, warm, and grounded—soft fig layered with subtle greenery and olive-toned depth. It’s meant to feel like an open window in the Italian countryside, a reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and feel connected to home, wherever that may be.

Some scents are more than just fragrance.
They’re memory.
They’re heritage.
They’re a feeling you can come back to again and again.
