A BIT ABOUT ME

Hippie's Homemade Candles was created in 2013 in my kitchen, as a small dream to make clean burning candles that smelled amazing.

My dream quickly became an obsession with making unique scents that reflect pieces of my own personal life experiences. Each one has a story, represents a memory or has a very significant meaning to my life's journey.

 

The nickname "Hippie" was gifted to me as a baby by my oldest brother James, who I lovingly called Jimbo. He, sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer in 2008. He taught me so much about life, love and how to live every moment as if it could be my last on this earth. This company is my tribute to his life and the beautiful lessons he taught me.

The candles I make are not only wonderful but they are plant and botanical based, clean burning, perfectly scented and made with pure soy wax. I specialize in clean and botanical based scents, since nature is where most of my inspiration comes from. Raised in northern Georgia I am definitely a southern girl and you'll see this reflected in the Mason jars I love to use for my candles.

I offer a wide variety of fantastic scents that are unique and one of a kind, with many different styles of jars and vessels to fit any household and budget. I know you will be so happy with your candles no matter if you prefer clean, woodsy, masculine seasonal, floral, feminine or fruity.
