The Story
In my twenties, I took a solo trip to Paris. One rainy afternoon, I wandered into a tiny, dimly lit used bookstore to escape the weather. The air was thick with the scent of old leather-bound books and aged paper. It felt safe. Quiet. Almost sacred.
I remember standing there thinking how beautiful it was that something so simple ~ a small shop, a rainy day, a room full of stories ~ could feel like refuge.
This candle is that memory for me. A reminder that sometimes the most ordinary places become the ones that hold us.
